Our Veterinary Hospital
Our Mission is to provide compassionate care and excellent customer service. Our veterinary healthcare team has been serving Port Hope and the surrounding area since 1986. We operate from a Century home conveniently located on Peter St. (Hwy 2). In 1990 the clinic was expanded to provide grooming facilities and improved accommodations for our growing patient needs.
We offer surgical, medical, and dental services as well as grooming. We carry a complete line of life stage premium pet foods and prescription diets.
Port Hope Veterinary Hospital is the only area veterinary service that offers canine rehabilitation therapy in West Northumberland County. Owner/veterinarian Dr. Kris Young is certified in canine rehabilitation therapy by the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. The goal of rehabilitation therapy is to improve general physical wellness by relieving pain, restoring mobility, maintaining or expanding function and preventing injury.
